The Colorado House of Representatives is comprised of 65 Representatives.
- Representatives are elected every two years from the district in which they live, and they are limited to serving eight consecutive years.
- Each Representative District consists of approximately 88,800 citizens.
- The Speaker of the House is elected by the full membership of the House.
- The General Assembly convenes each year no later than the second Wednesday in January and adjourns in May. Constitutionally legislative sessions may not exceed 120 calendar days.
