Letter to History Colorado on Annual Grant to Rehabilitate the Capitol Building - Committee Discussion Only

Speaker Becker distributed
several letters about the suspension of an agreement between the legislature
and History Colorado, which are included as Attachments B, C, and D.  She
spoke about the decline in funding provided to History Colorado over the
past several years and about the importance of restoring funding to History
Colorado so that it can continue to provide grants to community nonprofits
and local governments.  Committee members made comments.  Natalie
Mullis, Director, Legislative Council Staff, answered questions from the
committee.
