Reps. McLachlan and Lukens introduced Senate Bill 24-132. The bill extends the confidentiality of evaluation reports and related records to all teachers, principals, administrators, special service providers, and education support professionals.

representing the Colorado League of Charter Schools, testified in support
of the bill. Steven Bartholomew, representing themself, testified in support
of the bill. Kevin Vick, representing the Colorado Education Association,

witnesses several questions.

Reps. Kipp and Marvin introduced House Bill 24-1376. The bill expands the Teacher Mentor Grant Program in the Department of Higher Education to include novice teachers and provides additional program funding. The committee asked several questions.

the bill.  Kevin Vick, representing the Colorado Education Association,
testified in support of the bill. Dr. Liz Qualman, representing Colorado

the Colorado Parent Teacher Association, testified in support of the bill.
Dr. Curtis Garcia, representing Adams State University, testified in support
of the bill. The witnesses answered several committee questions.
