Representative Lindsay
and Representative Velasco, co-prime bill sponsors, presented House Bill
24-1368, concerning the creation of the Language Access Advisory Board.
The bill creates the Language Access Advisory Board in the Legislative
Department to study and make recommendations on improving language access
to the legislative process for populations with limited English proficiency
over the 2024 interim. Representative Lindsay and Representative Velasco
responded to questions and provided two handouts to the committee (Attachments
A and B).
