bill sponsor, introduced House Bill 24-1366 to the committee.The bill was
originally drafted to create new prioritization criteria for state agencies
awarding grants and establish new requirements for climate action plans
and transportation demand management plans. However, the bill was amended
in committee for the Colorado Energy Office, in collaboration with the
Colorado Department of Local Affairs and the Colorado Department of Transportation
to conduct, or contract with one or more entities to conduct, a study regarding
local government sustainability programs.
