A., prime sponsor, introduced House Bill 22-1254 concerning the registration
of vehicles within 90 days once an owner becomes a resident of Colorado.
According to the bill the the new resident owner of the vehicle will
pay back taxes and fees to the date that he or she became a resident of
the state. The bill also lowers the registration fee for vehicles
based on age, as well as the road and bridge fee.

adaptive equipment in rental motor vehicles. He provided a handout
(Attachment A). The bill prohibits lessors from restricting how a
person with a disability may request a vehicle with adaptive equipment
