Rep. Humphrey came to the table to introduce House Bill 18-1072. The bill prohibits a government entity or an agent of a government entity from using automated vehicle identification systems (AVIS) to issue traffic citations, but allows AVIS to be used when assessing tolls or civil penalties for toll roads and high occupancy vehicle lanes. He distributed amendment L.001 to the committee [Attachment A]. He answered several committee questions regarding amendment L.001.
