Senator Donovan and Representative Buentello,
prime sponsors, presented Senate Bill 19-075, concerning the display of
the Colorado Constitution at the State Capitol.  The committee considered
the bill pursuant to Senate Rule 42(a).

Senator Donovan responded to questions from the committee about possible display locations and the estimated fiscal impact of the bill.

Ms. Ariel Hammerquist, Legislative Council Staff, responded to questions about planned revisions to the published fiscal note and about potential outyear costs.  Senator Donovan commented on the source of funds for the potential outyear costs.  Discussion continued on this point.

Mr. Michael Shea, representing the Governor's Office of Information Technology, requested that the committee sponsor legislation related to leasing space on the state's microwave towers to private businesses.  Mr. Shea responded to questions from the committee.

Committee discussion continued.  Mr. Shea responded to additional questions.  The committee laid over further discussion of the potential legislation to a future meeting.
