Consideration of Request for Project Scope Change, Colorado State University - Committee Discussion Only

08:41:55 AM
Bo Pogue, Legislative
Council Staff explained Colorado State University's (CSU) request for a
project scope change. Mr. Pogue explained that CSU hopes to expand the
scope of a controlled maintenance project using cost savings.  When
a department/institution wishes to use cost savings to enhance a project,
it usually brings a supplemental request to the committee to expand the
project scope.  In this case, none of the usual rules apply since
the project was funded through Senate Bill 17-267 rather than the Long
Bill.  Thus, any cost savings are not required to revert to the Capital
Construction Fund. Mr. Pogue noted that the State Architect in is favor
of approving this request.

Motion Approve the request of Colorado State University to expand the scope of the Repair Exterior Enclosure Industrial Sciences Building and expand the project title to reflect that change
