Kevin Neimond, Joint Budget Committee Staff,
gave an overview of the Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT)
Evaluation Recommendations bill draft (Attachment A).  This bill will
require that recommendations from the House Bill 17-1361 appropriated audit
be implemented by OIT.

Jean Billingsley, Legislative Council Staff,
gave an overview of the State Tax System Working Group bill draft using
a powerpoint presentation (Attachment B).  This bill requires that
a tax system working group be convened to conduct an analysis of the state
tax system.  The bill draft was amended so that the working group
begin before June 1, 2019 and end on October 1, 2019.

Department of Personnel and Administration, Dr. Theresa Szczurek, Cheif
Information Officer of OIT, and William Chumley, Chief Customer Officer
of OIT, gave an update of the HRWorks project and provided a handout (Attachment
D).
