The bill requires the Department of Labor and Employment to investigate and take enforcement action regarding complaints alleging violations of state pay equity laws. The bill also makes updates to job posting and employee notification requirements for employers when hiring and promoting staff, including to specify that such posting and notices are not required in instances of career development or career progression.
