Senator Hill, chair, called the meeting to order. Senator Priola and Senator Zenzinger, co-sponsors, presented Senate Bill 17-123 which concerns a high school diploma endorsement for biliteracy.

Jorge Garcia, representing the Colorado Congress of Foreign Language Teachers and the Colorado Association of Bilingual Education, spoke in support of the bill. Mr. Garcia answered questions from the committee.
