Jason Portz and Brian Turner, appointees to the Colorado Health Facilities Authority, came to the table. The appointment letter may be found in Attachment A. Corinne Johnson, Executive Director at Colorado Health Facilities Authority, introduced the appointees and described their background working with health facilities. Both appointees discussed their reasons for wanting to serve on the board. Committee members made comments to the appointees.

primary bill sponsor, presented House Bill 24-1258. If a person is forced
to change carriers because a small group plan carrier left the market,
the bill requires the new carrier to credit all out-of-pocket expenses
paid by the person in the given plan year in accordance with the terms
of the original carrier.

SB24-168 - Amended, referred to Senate Appropriations

Senators Roberts and Simpson, primary bill sponsors, presented Senate Bill 24-168 which requires the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing to reimburse outpatient facilities for telehealth remote patient monitoring services, award grants for facilities to purchase equipment for telehealth remote monitoring, and cover continuous glucose monitors for Medicaid members.
