Colorado state departments and agencies submit all reports required by state law to the Legislative Council Staff.  The Legislative Council Staff then distributes the reports to the appropriate legislative recipients, and posts them online.  You can search for reports based on the department and agency that authored the report (see tabs located on the left side of the page), as well as by the statutory citation that requires the report, the next due date, the recipient of the report, and keywords.

The Legislative Council Staff maintains an online database of past and present state legislators.  Each legislator has a profile page containing information about their legislative career, such as the chamber(s) in which he or she served, leadership positions held, and committee assignments.  There are a number of ways to search for a legislator’s profile, including by name, district, political party, chamber served, county, and keywords.

The Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver maintains an online database of Colorado Legislative Council Publications dating back to 1954.  These publications include progress reports and final reports from interim committees (special legislative committees that meet when the legislature is not in session to study specific topics), and ballot information booklets, also known as “blue books”.  You can search for publications by publication number, year of publication, subject, and keywords.  All ballot information booklets can be found by searching under the subject “Elections.”
