Repeal Registered Manager Requirement Liquor Licensees

Concerning elimination of the requirement that certain businesses licensed to sell alcohol beverages for consumption on the licensed premises register a manager of the licensed premises with the state licensing authority.

Bill Summary

The act amends the "Colorado Liquor Code" to eliminate the requirement that a hotel and restaurant, tavern, and lodging and entertainment licensee register a manager with the liquor enforcement division in the department of revenue. The licensees are required to notify and pay a fee to the state and local licensing authority if the licensee changes its manager.
