Motor Vehicle License Plate Mounting Requirements

Concerning the repeal of certain requirements for where a license plate is mounted on a motor vehicle.

Bill Summary

Taxes - license plates - mounting requirements. The act repeals a requirement that each license plate be at the approximate center of a motor vehicle and at least 12 inches from the ground. This requirement is replaced with a requirement that the front license plate be mounted horizontally on the front in the location designated by the manufacturer.
