bill requires information sharing between the Colorado Department of Human
Services and local social services departments regarding regulated professionals
with substantiated cases of mistreatment of an at-risk adult. It requires
that prospective conservators or guardians to an at-risk adult have a Colorado
Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check.
