Representatives Bird
and Benavidez, co-prime sponsor, introduced House Bill 21-1235 concerning
measures to improve public safety through the modification of the regulation
of fireworks. The bill clarifies that individuals that are licensed
to sell, display, or import fireworks may not provide fireworks outside
of what their license allows. In addition, exporters may no longer
sell to purchasers outside of the state, according to the bill, unless
a buyer is a licensed retailer and shows a valid out-of-state license and
registration.
