Updates on Capitol Security Projects - Committee Discussion Only

Richard Lee, Department of Personnel and Administration, updated the committee on the status of the bollard installation and the wedge barrier installation. The committee previously approved these projects and recommended them to the Capital Development Committee. While the bollards installation is almost complete, the wedge barrier installation is delayed due to engineering errors around the parking circle.  Mr. Lee responded to questions from the committee.






The effective date for bills enacted without a safety clause is August 6, 2025, if the General Assembly adjourns sine die on May 7, 2025 (unless otherwise specified). Details
