Senator Michaelson Jenet, primary bill sponsor, introduced House Bill 25-1070 which repeals the requirement that Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) must be necessary to treat life-threatening malignant catatonia. It also requires one of the two licensed individuals who approve ECT for a minor to specialize in child and adolescent psychiatry.
