Senate Bill 23-024, concerning permitting a challenge to the constitutionality of a court order in a contempt proceeding, was first heard in the Senate Judiciary Committee on February 6, 2023. 

Senator Kirkmeyer recapped the previous hearing on SB23-024 and distributed Amendment L.001 (Attachment D).  She explained that the amendment narrows the bill to dependency and neglect cases.  Committee members asked questions about the amendment.
