Chair Weissman explained that, since the committee is sitting as the Senate committee of reference for Senate Bill 25-125, Senate rules for remote participation apply, rather than Committee on Legal Services rules for remote participation, and as such, members joining remotely must be marked as Excused.

Attorney, OLLS, presented the rule issue for the rules of the Division
of Labor Standards and Statistics, Department of Labor and Employment,
concerning the Protections for Public Workers Act (âPROPWAâ).

Chair Weissman noted that the rule was uncontested, and Ms. Darling informed the committee that Ms. Kristina Rosett of the Division of Labor Standards and Statistics was in attendance to answer any questions.

During the committee's vote concerning the extension of Rule 1.3 of the rules of the Division of Labor Standards and Statistics, Chair Weissman noted that Vice-chair Soper had joined the meeting remotely but would be marked as Excused for the vote.
