prime bill sponsor, presented House Bill 23-1204, concerning the discharge
of a client from a recovery residence. The bill requires a certifying
body, approved by the Behavioral Health Administration, to approve recovery
residenciesâ client discharge and transfer policies and to establish a
grievance and appeals process. He discussed amendments L.001 and
L.002 (Attachments A and B).
