Majority Leader Rodriguez, prime sponsor, presented House Bill 24-1241, concerning aligning the threshold for a comparable municipal offense to a state-level petty property crime for purposes of porhibiting a monetary condition of release. 

Mr. Jason Lantagne, representing Colorado Municipal Judges Association, testified in opposition to the bill.

Ms. Corin Flannigan, representing Colorado Municipal Judges Association, testified in opposition to the bill. .

Committee discussion followed about exceptions and carve-outs for domestic violence cases.  Discussion continued about municipal court domestic violence cases.
