Representative Mauro, co-prime sponsor, introduced Senate Bill 25-015. Under current law, the Division of Fire Prevention and Control within the Department of Public Safety is required to post certain information on its Wildfire Information and Resource Center website, including current wildfire statuses, burning restrictions, and prescribed burn activities. The bill requires the website to include links to emergency information and wildfire updates for each county. The division must coordinate with county governments to gather the necessary information.
