Representative McKean and Representative Winter introduced Senate Bill 17-269. Under current law, a licensed retail liquor store may receive no more than 20 percent of its annual gross revenue from the sale of nonalcohol products. The bill excludes sales revenue from lottery products, cigarettes, tobacco, and nicotine products, as well as ice, soft drinks, mixers, and any nonfood items related to the consumption of alcohol from that limit. The bill also clarifies that the limit is on annual gross sales revenue.
