bill sponsor, presented House Bill 22-1347, concerning workers' compensation,
and, in connection therewith, increasing funeral benefits, allowing for
advance mileage expense payments, addressing the payment of scheduled ratings,
and requiring reporting of certain active medical treatments.  She
further discussed the stakeholder process.

the Workers' Compensation Education Association, testified in support of
the bill. She discussed injured workers, funeral and burial expenses, travel
reimbursement, and data collection.




Committee members asked the witness questions about the funeral and burial
reimbursement amount and the relationship to average weekly wage.
