Representative Foote highlighted the meeting's agenda. The committee was provided with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Affair's (DORA) 2015 Sunset Review of the Colorado Retail Marijuana Code (Attachment A) and draft bill LLS 16-0428 (Attachment B).

Mr. Michael Dohr, Legislative Legal Services, came to the table to discuss the sunset review process and the draft bill.
Mr. Brian Tobias, representing DORA, came to the table to discuss DORA's 2015 Sunset Review of the Colorado Retail Marijuana Code. He responded to several committee questions regarding DORA's sunset process. He discussed DORA's 11 recommendations and two administrative recommendations.
Mr. Ron Kammerzell, representing the Colorado Department of Revenue's Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED), came to the table to answer committee questions regarding retail marijuana. Committee discussion ensued regarding marijuana testing and pesticides.
Mr. Tobias continued his discussion of DORA's recommendations. Committee discussion ensued regarding DORA's recommendation.
