The committee was called to order. A quorum was present. Representative Pabon, prime sponsor, presented Senate Bill 17-184. The reengrossed bill authorizes the operation of marijuana membership clubs that allow for the on-site consumption of medical or retail marijuana in local jurisdictions that adopt ordinances or resolutions authorizing marijuana membership clubs. Marijuana membership clubs are membership-based and not open to the general public.

02:04 PM -- Mr. Bob Doyle, representing the American Lung Association of Colorado, testified in opposition to the bill and answered questions from the committee.
