Representatives Hamner and Liston, co-prime sponsors, presented House Bill 18-1006, which expands newborn screening for genetic and metabolic diseases, increases access to follow-up services, and creates a funding source for newborn hearing loss screening. Representative Thurlow, prime sponsor, presented House Bill 18-1144, which removes a statutory reference to the mailing of the income tax booklet by the Department of Revenue and instead requires that the disclosure of average taxes paid be made via the department's website and its individual income tax filing software.  Representative Thurlow distributed amendment L.001 [Attachment D] and a memo to the Statutory Revision Committee, prepared by the Office of Legislative Legal Services [Attachmetn E].

Mr. Larson Silbaugh, representing Legislative Council Staff, discussed the collection and distribution of marijuana revenue. He responded to committee questions.
