The bill designates the Public Employees' Retirement Association as a local public body under open meetings laws, establishes term limits for trustees, requires that certain financial information be posted on the association's website, and clarifies the board's authority.

Mr. Andrew Roth, representing Colorado PERA, testified in support of the bill. Ms. Jana Schleusner, representing CASE (Colorado Association of School Executives), testified in support of the bill.  The witnesses responded to committee questions.
