Representatives Ransom and Ginal presented Senate Bill 17-268 to the committee, along with a handout (Attachment A). Under current law, a pharmacist may supervise up to three persons who are either pharmacy interns or pharmacy technicians. The reengrossed bill allows a pharmacist to supervise up to six persons. If three or more pharmacy technicians are on duty, the majority must have certain qualifications.
