Representatives Herod and Gray, bill sponsors, explained Senate Bill 18-149 to the committee.  Under current law, all records of the Denver Health and Hospital Authority are subject to the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA).  This bill specifies that certain documents of the authority are public record, but that the contents of an electronic medical record system, individual medical records, personal medical information, and other documents related to individual patient care are not public records.  Amendment L.001 was distributed to the committee [Attachment A].
