Representative Melton, prime sponsor, presented House Bill 16-1153, concerning the annual date by which the General Assembly receives a report regarding outcomes of decisions made by the State Board of Parole. Representative Melton explained the effect of the bill and discussed its need. The following person testified regarding the bill:

Ms. English provided background on the report, and the cost for compiling report. Ms. English responded to questions regarding who uses the report. Discussion ensued regarding the ramifications of moving the reporting deadline back to March 31, and the potential for moving up the data collection schedule associated with the report.
