Jane Ritter, Office of Legislative Legal Services, explained the sunset review process and actions the committee may take when reviewing a draft sunset bill.

Saul Larsen, Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), presented the 2015 Sunset Review Report: Rural Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Program (Attachment B). Mr. Larsen provided background information on the program. He explained how the program is funded and noted the rural communities that utilize the program. He explained DORA's recommendation to continue the program for nine years.
