Representative Leonard, bill sponsor, presented Senate Bill 17-009. As amended by the Senate Finance Committee, the bill expands the exemption for business personal property from $7,300 to $10,000 in 2017 and 2018. The exemption is adjusted for inflation every two years. Representative Leonard provided two handouts to the committee (Attachments D and E).
