sponsors, introduced House Bill 20-1196, concerning updates to the laws
governing mobile home parks.  The bill defines new terms; clarifies
notification on terminating a tenancy; adds gender neutral language to
the law; clarifies management responsibilities for maintenance and repair
of the park; adds new information that managment must send to tenants regarding
water usage and billing; prohibits retaliation against tenants; adds provisions
regarding amending park rules; and requires management to respect tenant
privacy.

Representatives Hooton and Gonzales-Gutierrez,
co-prime sponsors, introduced House Bill 20-1201, concerning providing
home owners in a mobile home park the opportunity to purchase the park
under specified circumstances.  The bill requires landlords of mobile
home parks to notify home owners in the park and government officials about
a pending sale of a park.  Home owners have 90 days to purchase the
park through an association representing at least 51 percent of home owners.
 Provisions about notice do not apply if the sale is to a family member
or due to inheritance or eminent domain.

HB20-1138 - Amended, referred to House Appropriations

sponsors, introduced House Bill 20-1138, concerning supplementing the centralized
inventory of state-owned real property maintained by the Office of the
State Architect to include all publicly owned real property.  By December
31, 2020, the bill requires each state agency, state higher education institution,
and state political subdivision to submit a list of real property owned
or being cared for by the state, institution, or political subdivision.
 The bill requires yearly updates, as well as notification if real
property is sold.  The State Architect must create a database including
this information by July 1, 2021.
