Presentation from MSU-Denver and Colorado School of Mines on FY 2022-23 IT Capital Budget Requests - Committee Discussion Only 07:41:45 AM Dr. Janine Davidson, President of Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU-Denver), provided the committee with an overview of MSU and Colorado School of Mines' FY 2022-23 IT Capital Budget Request. Dr. Davidson was joined by Dr. Monique Sendze, Chief Information Officer and Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the Colorado School of Mines, as well as Kevin Taylor, Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice President of MSU-Denver. 07:41:52 AM Dr. Sendze provided the committee with a more detailed explanation of the technical and financial aspects of the budget request. Dr. Sendze also highlighted the anticipated savings that will potentially result from the approval of the budget request. 07:44:18 AM Dr. Sendze provided the committee with an overview of the timeline and plan for the project, should the budget request be approved. 07:46:33 AM Members of the committee asked the presenters about their anticipated future budget requests, requesting an explanation of the anticipated costs in future years. Nick Pistentis, Deputy Chief Information Officer of MSU-Denver, responded to questions from the committee regarding these anticipated costs. Presentation from CDPHE on FY 2022-23 IT Capital Budget Request - Committee Discussion Only 07:53:01 AM Representatives from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) presented to the committee on their FY 2022-23 IT Capital budget request. Representatives included: Erick Scheminske, Director of Business Operations; Michael Ogletree, Director of Air Pollution Control Division (APCD); Andrew Putnam, Environmental Information Manager; and, Kristi Labarge, Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT) IT Director for CDPHE. He explained that the request consists of two components- the Stationary Sources Program, and the Air Pollution Data Warehouse. 07:58:40 AM Mr. Scheminske provided the committee with an overview of CDPHE's "technology health scores". 08:02:05 AM Ms. Labarge, representing the Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT), explained OIT's collaboration process with CDPHE on this project. 08:03:29 AM Ms. Labarge provided the committee with more information regarding the implementation methodology of the project. 08:04:42 AM Director Ogletree summarized CDPHE's Stationary Sources System project.
