The bill extends the Transitional Jobs Program administered by the Department of Human Services (DHS) through June 30, 2022, except that DHS shall offer no new transitional jobs after December 31, 2021. The program is currently scheduled to repeal June 30, 2017, with no new transitional jobs offered after December 31, 2016. The senators provided a handout to the committee (Attachment C).
