Senator Ulibarri introduced House Bill 16-1347, concerning wage law violations. The reengrossed bill requires the Division of Labor in the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment to treat information pertaining to a wage law violation as public record. An employer may designate information submitted to the division as proprietary, a trade secret, or privileged information as long as the director of the division is not bound by the employer's designation.
