and social equity business. The bill places additional requirements and
restrictions on marijuana and natural medicine sales and expands the social
equity license program. The sponsors asked the committee to postpone the
bill indefinitely.

Marcia Waters, Division of Real Estate, Department of Regulatory Agencies, introduced the appointees to the Board of Real Estate Appraisers. Clinton Taylor and Darius Wise, appointees to the board, came to the table. The appointment letter may be found in Attachment A. Their applications and resumes are available at the State Archives. Mr. Taylor and Mr. Wise discussed their professional experience and interest in serving on the board.

introduced Senate Bill 25-157, concerning a deceptive trade practice standard.
 The bill establishes what types of activity constitute an unfair
trade practice. The sponsors distributed Amendment L.001 and three handouts
to the committee (Attachment B, C, D, and E). Senator Weissman responded
to questions from the committee.
