Amabile introduced House Bill 25-1154, concerning communication services
for people with disabilities. The bill creates the Communication Services
for People with Disabilities Enterprise to provide services and resources
for individuals who are blind, print-disabled, deaf, hard of hearing, or
deafblind. The sponsors distributed Amendments L.005, L.006, L.007, L.008,
and L.009 (Attachments A through E). They responded to questions from the
committee.

Senator Weissman introduced House Bill 25-1010, concerning price gouging of necessities. The bill allows the Governor to declare a disaster emergency due to a market disruption including a trade disruption, and clarifies what may constitute price gouging during such a declared disaster emergency. He responded to questions from the committee.
