Senator Hill explained that public testimony would be taken on the next two bills, House Bill 16-1289 and House Bill 16-1291, together. He invited Senators Crowder and Garcia, co-sponsors, to present HB 1289 which concerns incentives for local education providers to encourage high school students to successfully complete career development course work. HB 1291, which is co-sponsored by Senators Hill and Johnston, concerns developing additional resources for modern technology education in public schools.
