SB22-051 - Amended, referred to Senate Appropriations

Sen. Hansen introduced Senate Bill 22-051. The bill exempts air-source heat pumps, ground-source heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, and certain building materials from sales and use taxes. The bill also creates refundable income tax credits for the purchase of the above heat pumps in addition to residential energy storage systems. Sen. Hansen answered several committee questions.
