Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, presented about the Intellectual
/ Developmental Disabilities client waiting list for services and responded
to questions. Ms. Silva's presentation may be accessed at Attachment
A.

Pathways and Alliance, testified. He discussed management of the
COVID-19 pandemic in the Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities system
and positive changes that have occurred as a result of the pandemic.

Jody Walters, Executive
Director, Parker Personal Care Homes, testified. She discussed eliminating
the wait list for IDD services and expressed support for legislative changes
to help eliminate the wait list.

Michael Conway, Commissioner of Insurance,
Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) provided a presenation (Attachment
B) about the state's compliance with the Mental Health Parity and Addiction
Act.

continued the presentation about compliance with the Act (Attachment B).
She discussed how parity relates to health insurance plan coverage of behavioral
health diagnoses and services. She also explained how the department regulates
and monitors compliance with parity rules and regulations.
