Senator Court introduced Senate Bill 17-079. The bill states that it is the intent of the General Assembly to not amend, repeal, or supersede a statutory citizen initiative approved after the 2016 general election for a period of three years unless the change is approved by a two-thirds vote of each house. She responded to questions from the committee.
