Senator Priola presented House Bill 18-1044, which changes the duties and membership of the Colorado Children's Trust Fund board.  The committee heard testimony on the bill on February 21, 2018.

Senator Priola presented amendments L.011 and L.012 [Attachments B and C], which reduce the size of the board and limit the board's ability to use its powers for political purposes.

Senator Williams, sponsor, presented Senate Bill 18-157 to the committee. The bill creates the State Women Veterans Office and Steering Committee in the Office of the Governor.

Senator Williams presented amendments L.001, L.002, and L.003  [Attachments E, F, and G], which move the office to the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), update the bill's legislative declaration, and make changes to the office's charge.
